The Van Horne House, in which the Heritage Trail Association locates its headquarters, is a late 18th century building, remodeled as a Colonial Revival style house in the 1930s, and restored in 2002. The first floor contains permanent and rotating exhibit galleries as well as office and meeting space. The second floor is rented for income.

The grant will help fund the preparation of a fourth revised edition 70 Miles of Legend and Lore publication and the script for an audio CD.
