This small, single room building was constructed circa 1900 as Bethlehem Township’s Town Hall. The building is an early and unique example of concrete block construction. This small building features a stepped parapet with ball finials, a molded concrete block belt course and lintels with molded decorative swags. The township continued to use it as a town hall and courthouse until 1964. Except for the roof, the building is in good condition.
The grant will help fund the slate roof replacement.
