The original Caldwell Parsonage was the site of the killing of Hanna Caldwell during the revolutionary War. The parsonage was burned in 1780 and rebuilt in its present appearance in 1782. It is a well-preserved example of a late 18th century farm house.

The grant will fund restoration of the chimney, installation of new electrical services and fixtures, and installation of exit lights.
