The Emlen Physick House is a key contributing building within the National Historic Landmark, Cape May Historic District. The 1879 Physick House is attributed to notable Philadelphia architect Frank Furness and is an outstanding example of Victorian Stick Style architecture. The Physick House is the only Victorian house museum open to the public in Cape May and also houses the headquarters of MAC.
The 2004 grant helped fund the repair and rebuilding of one of the distinctive brick chimneys on the house.
The 2006 grant will help fund the restoration of the orignal wood sash windows.
