Constructed in 1892 by British-American architect Robert Gibson, Grace Episcopal Church is a well-preserved example of Gothic Revival ecclesiastical architecture. The church, parish house and hall comprise half a city block and anchor its heterogeneous neighborhood. The church houses a soup kitchen, children’s computer center and office space for local non-profits and shares its century-old carillon with the community.

The Trust grant will fund the first phase of a long-range restoration plan. Current work will include repointing and repair of the front elevation and tower and the restoration of stained glass windows, including several Tiffany windows.
