The matching grant will help fund the restoration of existing bronze chandeliers and wall sconces, replacement of inappropriate globes and light fixtures with new, more historically appropriate ones, rewiring and new circuitry, and replication of missing historic light fixtures and components. The improvement will greatly enhance the historic character of the courthouse, an exuberant example of the Beaux Arts Classicism that was built in 1910.
