The Ledgewood Historic District was determined eligible for listing in the New Jersey and National Registers in 1995.  The proposed district encompasses four National Register-listed properties, part of the Morris Canal, the site of Incline Plane 3 East and corresponding King Basin, King Canal Store and the Silas Riggs Saltbox House, as well as a concentration of Morris Canal related resources.

The Trust grant will help fund the preparation of a New Jersey and National Register district nomination.
