Port Colden
The Port Colden United Methodist Church was constructed in 1893 according to the designs of architect A. H. Price. It is the oldest church building in Washington Township. Port Colden provided support to the Morris Canal, which ran through the village. The village contained a general store, worker's housing, repair facilities, and a boat basin. The carpenter gothic style church remains the centerpiece of the village.

This Trust grant will assist the preparation of a preservation plan for the church and architectural and engineering services to stabilize the bell tower.
