The 1841 Greek Revival-style house of worship is the oldest in the community and maintains good architectural integrity.  The temple front brick church has 16/16 windows that illuminates its raised sanctuary, in addition, the façade includes a portico with railings that are still intact.  The first floor has a fellowship/education hall addition that was added in the 1960s. The church maintains an adjacent community cemetery and recently purchased a neighboring building for expanding program and community activities. 

The Trust grant will help fund the preparation of a preservation plan that will examine existing conditions of the historic structure and set priorities for future repair and restoration work.
