The matching grant will help fund a conditions assessment, signage refurbishment and design for a large restoration project. The Trust grant will also help fund the exterior restoration and repair of the roof and walls. The firehouse, designed in the Norman Revival Style in 1925, is a source of community pride as a landmark and as an active fire station.
