St John's Church is the first permanent church building erected in the town of Dover. Located on the main street, it was designed by renowned architect Richard Upjohn, whose brother was the rector of the congregation. The handsome Gothic Revival-style church and parish house, built in 1891, are used daily for worship and host other community meetings and activities.

The grant will aid the exterior restoration of the church.
